People bothered to listen to a full Carly Rae Jepsen album when Call Me Maybe was relevant? Everyone around me was sick of her after that one song

Idk how it was down under, but here in 'Murica that song was fuckin' EVERYWHERE! and yeah it was fun to listen to for the first maybe 150 times, but my god did it wear out fast after that, it stopped being catchy and started being grating after just a week
