just bumped this to a four. solid effort as always from one of the few quality metalcore bands around.

This band isn't bad, but I just can't really get into Christian music even if the instrumentation is solid.
Still have a lot of respect for these guys, though.

the band being christian has nothing to do with their music. even so its mainly metaphors.

I realize that; that's why I don't mind them at all and have a great deal of respect for their work. They're not preaching, and they're recording some pretty solid music. It's not my cup of tea, but I have nothing against them whatsoever.

It's not a preconceived notion it is a fact, they say it themselves. So you are telling me the overall message of the music means nothing to you. idc how good the instrumentation was if a band was singing about fucking little girls and boys I probably wouldn't listen to it.
