I haven't given this the time it probably deserves. Opener is lovely.

The bridge of Shit in Your Cut might be the album's best moment.

Also still like how 'Wicked Campaign' sounds like it was written by The National

My friend and I made that same observation about Wicked Campaign when we first heard this, guess it's pretty obviously influenced by them.
I find Good News is better than this, maybe We Were Dead too.

Since this album is such a hodge-podge of things happening, much like "Good News..", it's a super grower. Still don't entirely love it but definitely is aging well in its first two years

Haven't had the drive to relisten to this until just recently. This is actually not as bad as I remember it being

Yeah I admit I was way too harsh on this album, I like it quite a bit now. Its main problem is that it does not really have stand-out tracks like on the previous two albums.

It's a pretty good album. It's just that I rarely have the urge to revisit it when they have such a strong catalogue. 'The Ground Walks...' is a jam though, I come back to that one more than others.

After being out for two years, it's a bummer that none of the songs on here really stick. I need to listen again though, it's been awhile
