Problem with waiting past the release date is it can sometimes backfire. But after hearing that bad quality, radio edit rip it still managed to blow my mind. So much energy.

In terms stock and getting it at release price yeah but I don't find this a problem until like 3 months later.

Ahh, I'm not one for leaving it to chance; been burned too many times in the past for leaving it.

I have my ways ;)
I'll buy Arche at Budokan too when I watch it, no subs so limited is basically pointless.

A fair point there. You'd think at this point they'd look at subs as a prerequisite.

I think for the most part they don't care about their international fanbase tbh. They did it for Ghoul sub everything Diru ffs.

Well, they did say during the documentary that they considered that American tour extremely important, so that can explain the odd case of subs for Tour13. The Budokan shows are only in their homeland, obviously.

I know so far since 2011 any American tour on the DVD/Blu Rays has had some kind of subbing (i.e. Tour 11 and Ghoul) but since people are importing it, it is ridiculous how they refuse to sub everything (especially since Budokan is their largest event).

great song but I'm a little disappointed. it sounds very much like something off of Dum Spiro Spero which is fine, but seems like a slight regression after Arche.
|
| |
Kinda early to say it's a regression, it's only one track and it'll likely be rerecorded for the next album. That being said it's a cool heavy track but it doesn't exactly stand out.

It's still fine. Nothing about it is special, though Utafumi's a pretty likable appetizer. Knowing Diru, that song probably won't be indicative of the next record's direction. For all we know, there could be a track on there that features air horns playing over a super awesome chocolaty fudge-coated mega super br00tal breakdown :P

"Let me ease the pain."
It does little to ease the pain, because the promo edits suck. haha I want the full thing!
I agree with Angelboros, one song doesn't finalize the albums sound. I bet there will be some really groundbreaking shit in there. Or... it's the start of their sonic decline...

Hope not, but it'll be hard to live up to the last three.

Time will tell. Hoefully not another misfire like The Unraveling; that track felt really dated to me, even when it first came out.
Music video was good for that radio edit, Evo.

Yeah, the clip delivered; Kyo's as crazy as ever.
Heh, you used to have the Unraveling EP 5'd at one point. I think the title track got a nice rhythm and chorus, and is overall well-put together; I've been jamming it the past days.

I did indeed, yeah. But I think that stemmed from hype and the other tracks, because the rest of the EP is fantastic. It's just, when you compare the calibre of songwriting on Uroboros and DSS, The Unraveling track just runs out as a left over B-side type track to me, with much to be desired.
