Yeah I do agree with you there. It's a similar attitude. "Like what we do or fuck off." The problem being they picked up more fans than they thought and I don't think they really care for it.

That's entirely possible, and it is also impossible to decipher being that they are incredibly cryptic by nature, so I won't argue with you there. Maybe they wanted to take that attitude to a new level though. Based on their career, a convincing argument could be made that it is what they always intended.

I am biased towards Death Grips. I enjoy music because it's an inviting experience; generally musicians want you to hear their expression. I don't pick up on that feeling from them, and it irritates me, so I've never really given them a fair shot.
