The vocals here are the worst on any Cynic album. They need the vocodor or some type of effect because let's face it Paul is not only a mediocre singer but the vocoder helps cover up the gay. Cynic with Aeonspoke vocals is shit.

It's definitely interesting at the very least to see how a great band can somehow simultaneously sound like they are playing the same stuff that they have been for the last decade and at the same time sound like they've ditched everything that makes their previous releases great.
Pretty much everything is bad in most of the album. Lyrics, song structures, production, guitar parts.

Traced in Air is way better than this, but I'm not big on that one either tbh. Focus is the only one I ever jam anymore because we all know it's an absolute classic.
