i do not no man no i do not agree no their are a lot of hard pops and slaps on guitar and heavy hard hitting on drums and big slaps yeah slap but it has more of a classic rock feel..... but that does not mean it doesnt do hard hits and really good slapping on the songs it just is a different way for them to do. my dream is to be a singer one day but i play bass guitar

I really enjoyed this album. It was a bit corny compared to their other releases lyrically, but regardless, it has a great sound and some memorable tracks. It gets a lot of unneeded hate because people try to loosely connect the sound to Metallica and Korn (which I don't really get) and then dismiss the album as being a "rip-off" of their sound, but it's not by any stretch. I do hear inspiration, but I don't see this album as them imitating these bands whatsoever. It's still classic (2000 onward) A7X with a changed up vocal style.

Pretty funny how both their simplest and most complex/progressive record are right next to each other in their discog

i honestly don't understand the decision on the album artwork here... like for three of their albums they just said fuck it, skull with wings. like no creativity or effort at all. three times over at that.

You know what sucks too? The alternate artwork for Waking the Fallen is fucking fantastic. My copy of Waking the Fallen has the generic logo on the sleeve, but when you remove the sleeve, you get this fantastic gothic picture of a woman holding a script while a bunch of undead hands reach for her. Too bad the logo artwork is the cover people associate most with that record
