I used to only ever jam Deadbolt lol, but yeah I've been exploring their discog alot more recently too. I always knew I liked their sound, just felt like putting it off for later

this was a 4 for me at first but turned into a strong 4.4

every song sounds like it's supposed to be here. nothing is filler

thrice is freaking awesome. nj's 'a media friendly turn for the worse' and 'under a killing moon' by thrice are pretty similar too vocally.

Both guys have pretty similar clean singing vocal ranges and both have a similar raspyness

I kind of want to 4.5 this as well but if I 4.5 this, then I have to 4.5 O' God and Redeemer as well

I'm not real big on Bless the Martyr, honestly. It's their second worst IMO

Nahuh. Dustin's range is phenomenal. Corey's range is pretty nonexistant

dustin's range is far above my own. i can almost sing nj songs when corey isn't screaming in his high range. i have a really low voice.

and the two songs have verse melody lines that are pretty much identical, for real. check it out.

I donno but Corey definitely soars on Sword On Mouth, he shows phenomenal range on that song as a tenor

i was just listening to sword in mouth and i came back here to admit that that song was quite out of

my range. quite a coincidence.

i'm still not sure how i'm going to rate this album.
