at least Risk had some sense of purpose, although being bad. This one is their worst. "Kingmaker" is really cool tho

"Kingmaker" does rule yeah. Easily fits on Cryptic Writings or CTE imo. But Risk is way better than this imo.

"This makes Risk sound like Rust in Peace. "
Risk was pretty good, imo. Not your typical Megadeth album that's for sure but i liked it.

This is Megadave on autopilot but i take it over Risk because of how good the instrumentation is. Risk sounds absolutely nothing like Megadeth and instead feels like a cheap cash in at having big charting hits, stealing the waste product backwash from every 90’s band (Soundgarden, Rob Zombie, Marylin Manson, even 90’s Metallica), and it doesn’t utilize what that lineup could’ve done.
Also, fight me but this t/t is underrated and quite charming lol. Easily the best song here

Again, Risk was pretty cool. At least it had some good songs.
Supercollider is just super bland.

Chris broderick shreds on this album but that’s about it. honestly "don't turn your back..." is a pretty decent song and a good closer with a great solo from Dave mustaine.
