dude, that lull from the second half of Ich Schreite to the end of Einsamkeit. too long without an eye-freezing icy blast.

Die Festung is the only one I haven't heard yet. Should I start with DSIII?

ds3 and maybe even ds1 r good dark space albums without too much meandering

this album takes some of the ideas and executions from dark space's music and wraps them up into a paysage album

how black metal is darkspace?

It's as black... as space. It's pretty similar stylistically to Paysage but with much cleaner production and heavy-as-a-black-hole guitars with drums that blast faster than anyone's business. They also do a lot of "mid-paced atmospheric palm-muting of the void" to break it up, usually with keys/synths sprinkled in to make it sci-fi-y-er.

If you listen to Paysage then listen to Sun of the Blind, Darkspace is like the happy medium between them. I think that says a lot about which individuals are responsible for which influences in Darkspace's sound, which is actually kinda interesting.

yea its like his side project (even tho theyre prolly bigger than paysage) to do cleaner but equally evil and malicious ambient stuff, less chainsaw

btw die festung is like a precursor to dark space, the most straight ambient type release hes done
