This album disappointed me. I only really liked the singles. Everything else was meh. It’s been a few years though so I maybe I should try spinning it again

This album/band explained: cliche, boring alt rock

Basically it seems this style is doomed to fail on Sputnik no matter how good you are at it lmao. Only bands that aren't shat on are among the likes of this band and Alter Bridge.

This band has always been reeeaaally boring and uninspired to my ears. They're a local band and even that doesn't sway me

Even Thrice got pummeled by some people here over To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere's post-grunge elements so why should I be surprised that it gets shat on here.

Thrice is loved on here, what are you talking about
Just ignore the indie hipsters and you'll be fine

I would imagine there was a noticeable increase in negative sentiment when To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere dropped

Yes I mean good, the style is just ridiculously difficult to stomach for some. Which might seem crazy given how simple it is.
