That, and not lie to us about release dates when they're inevitably pushed back. I understand that records get postponed, but the thing that really annoys me is that Jari doesn't even report what's going on, so people just think he's slacking or lazy

I think that works for diehard fans or for bands who have albums too frequently. I don't fully think that the frustration present in fans is any good of a marketing scheme, because it's not like it gets us buying more merch or anything. I suppose you're right at giving a band a reputation for it, which can cause a fair amount of awareness.
