I've heard a few songs off the audio portion, sounds good but Vinnie's guitar is barely audible, and the snare needs more reverb.

I haven't jammed the DVD yet, but the audio is pretty amazing so far.
You can never expect a live album to be perfect Omair

i regret not seeing these guys in 2010 because every show from now on is probably going to be mostly this album
had a quick runthrough of the live album and the live version of the songs on this album are essentially just exactly the same but with a worse recording and all their old stuff sounds like them barely even trying (especially deep, wow, they slaughtered that) and the orchestra doesn't help at all
what happened to this band

also they really could have chose some better tracks. panic? fragile dreams twice? emotional winter?
and why did they cut out the best part of wings of god

Haven't heard the DVD properly bit the production and mix could be slightly better.
Wth noctus you've decreased your rating?
Lost Child starts off in a beautiful and chilling manner and then the climax doesn't support that brilliant start, but the outro is brilliant again.

I couldn't agree more with Trey's review. Each song is great, but as a fan of Anathema the mood and structure sounds so similar in each song. Either the structure and flow or the mood needs to be distinct for a song to truly stand out. Still, each song is so good (except for Storm Before the Calm) I can't give the album less than 4.0. Just hoping they do something more special with their next album. A great rehash is still a rehash.

@noctus: No emotion? That's what makes this album a 4.5 for me, there's a lot of emotion and passion.
Mad knows.
