@apert: They still had metalcore riffs popping up on Nocturnal. The verse riff in Deathmask Divine being a perfect example. Still a killer album though

Well as for the otehr albums, I haven't listened to anything but Nocturnal. RYM gives all the other albums a 3,0 average, with Nocturnal having 3,3 and Ritual having 3,6. And on RYM if something has 3,6 it's fucking mighty.
