This is a cool record but it's inconsistent. It goes through periods of being a little overbearing where it jumps from one thing to the next with a backdrop of busy percussion. I prefer it when the tracks have a little more room to breathe & he's not trying to fit several ideas into one short passage.

I can't deny that the tracks sound like they belong on the same record, which in itself is impressive but the feeling of 'that's clever' only gets music so far for me, it doesn't enhance my level of enjoyment exponentially.
