I think like an everflowing stream is better. I always think "wow this rocks" whenever I start this, but it starts sounding samey about halfway through. Like an everflowing stream is shorter by two songs and ten minutes which I think increases its impact

Maybe to an untrained ear, ya. when I first heard this and Dismember I thought Flowing Stream was the better album for a looooong time, in fact I didn't like this much at all.

Yeah this album owns, I agree a lot of the tracks have a similar sound but in a good way, for me.

I mean the songs do all sound similar but there is a lot of variety here too.

You should check out Nihilist 1987- 1989 Compilation Space, its this album but with demo production... about as pure as metal gets.

I don't mind an album being a bit repetitive/samey, as long as it possesses a certain charm/atmosphere, like this for example.

Lars has some of the best vox next to Martin van Drunen and a couple others. This is also twice the runtime and ridiculously consistent.

Well i'm certainly not saying this album is bad. It's good, but like an everflowing stream has a more "quick and to the point" type of quality, and i like that about it. I also think there's a bit more variation in the songs on stream
