I dunno guys, I did a Morbid Angel discog listen through a couple weeks ago and going from Gateways straight into this was roouuuughhh
Mostly because of production though - Gateways sounds sludgy and heavy af, then this sounds like tracing paper in comparison - maybe if I listen to it on its own one day, but man that was not easy lol

Yeah Gateways' production is massive compared to this, however when it comes to songwriting I'd prefer Heretic by a mile.
In fact the only song I really like from G is Summoning Redemption.
