was listening to Alice In Chains- Dirt the other and find it ironic that Layne Staley and Matt Sanders have a very similar vocal style, yet the site hates Avenged for it.

I didn't quite pick up on Sanders sounding like him though
similarly though, parts of Mikael Akerfeldt's clean singing reminded me of Jerry Cantrell, don't ask why because it escapes me even now

Dunno if I wrote anything yet,but I changed by below average rating to good. This is a solid album, the only way I could come to that is to listen to it without knowing it was them, at a friend's party, and just enjoying it. Not enough to give a higher rating, but at least I'm avoiding the "oh it's them so it can't be good" thing that most people do.
