Like this is meant to be the one holiday period where, being in Y12, we wouldn't have homework and could just relax for two weeks
But the English department seems to have decided that its so much more important than all the other subjects and given me two LARGE books to read and a short story to write in this relaxing period of time

if you sit down and get to it you should be able to read those fairly quickly (depending how long you
define as long and how quick a reader you are). I understand your frustration though.

Its not the time I'm annoyed about, I know I can read them within the two weeks its just I think it's really stupid that only the English department is allowed to give us work and no-one else

One of them is Shakespeare's Julius Caesar and the other is Frank Herbert's Dune. Not bad texts by any means.
