haha Marc Columbo is just another example of a Bears player to be great as soon as he leaves (see Benson, Cedric)

and MJ, I root for both Chicago baseball teams, since I grew up in Atlanta I don't root against either one. When it comes down to it I'm more of a Sox fan though.

Go Twins (2).

Oh and Pit, I used to listen to three songs before every football game I played. 1. Steppenwolf Born to Be Wild, 2. Metallica - Aint My Bitch, 3. Pantera, Mouth for War (the last one I would listen to so I would have it in my head while I was going to war on the gridiron.

Hans, is that the Broussard article? I mean to link that here for comedy's sake, but forgot. I mean, he makes some valid points, but there's no way in hell I'm taking Kobe over Magic to start a team with ever, EVER.

Magic's a top 5 all-time player (MJ, Bird, Oscar and Wilt are the other 4 imo), Kobe will be lucky to break the top 10 -- and that's only with another championship at least.

Shaq may have 4 titles to Olajuwon's 2 but Hakeem was the most complete center I have ever seen. Nobody comes close to him in the past 20+ yrs as far as offense AND defense

yeah Hakeem kinda got hosed playing in the Jordan era, but then again, the Rockets never made it out of the West to face Jordan I guess either..

RIP Manute. I remember as a kid I had this video called Dazzling Dunks and Basketball bloopers, made in the late 80's, narrated by Frank Layden, and cheesier than hell. Manute was a big part of the bloopers section, especially when he was jacking up 3's. Wasn't a great player but was good for the sport, and seemed like a pretty nice dude.

Bulls trade Kirk Hinrich and 17th pick in draft to Washington Wizards -- they now have as much cap space as the Miami Heat and enough to sign TWO max-level free agents!

Rose + LeBron + Bosh + Noah + Deng = 10 year dynasty bitches!!!!

nah they just unloaded Cook -- Hinrich was set to make $10 mil this year. Add to that the $1.5 mil cap hold from the 17th pick and we just added over $11 mil to our $20.5 mil of cap space.

According to ESPN.com's Chad Ford we now have the same amount of space as Miami. However, Miami only has Joel Anthony, Chalmers and Beasley on the roster whereas we have Rose, Noah, Deng, Gibson and James Johnson.

Advantage: Bulls

actually, Miami has $38 mil in cap space and the Bulls have about $32 mil -- but Miami's space will go down to $20 mil once they re-sign Wade.
