Almost bought this at best-buy for 8 bucks, then I realized I'd rather spend my money on C&C

Maybe Anthony's different because he's fatter now

I think he gained weight after he stopped doing coke.

It was probably his absence of drugs, that triggered his weight gain; but it was obvious once I saw live videos of the band
His belly hella stuck out lol

I'm about 450 pages into House of Leaves and it's such a fucking bitch. I wish Truant would just shut the fuck up and let me find out what happened to Navidson during Exploration #5, god damn.

Hahahaha I actually totally understand that sentiment, but the book really does need Johnny to succeed as brilliantly as it does. Even though sometimes I just want to get on with the other storyline.
Book is a 5.

I'm desperately hoping there's a huge payoff near the end, because so far there's been amazingly interesting parts scattered throughout copious amounts of either Truant's crappy stream of conciousness or Zampeno's analytical bullshit.
|
| |
The actual story gets really intense, as does Johnny's rambling about his life, but the Zampano tangents are pretty constant throughout. What makes the book are all the layers to it though. The house, the book about the house, Johnny's life while reading the book about the house, until it almost feels like your own life is also part of the book.
Plus the concept and the descriptions of the house are so chillingly terrifying... crazycrazycrazy

It costs a bunch too. No one in Australia has ever heard of it (which is weird because it's such a cult classic in the States) so my library ordered it for over $100. It has full colour pictures and weird formatting though.

This album is sick!! I've listened to their stuff from the beginning and I think this album has alot of sick jammin, and the harmonic melodies of Anthony's voice have never been better. Personally my order for their albums goes #1 Juturna, #2 Blue Sky Noise, #3 On Letting Go. I am hopefully seeing them when they head to chi-town, and I couldn't be more extatic to see them again guranteed to be an epic show considering they're also playing wit coheed. Good shit Circa but I hope I won't hav2 wait another 3 years for a new album. Otherwise I might just go crazy.
