this album is so emotional once this girl cheated on me and we split up and got i really pissed off and listened to this album and it was like jacob wrote the album for me and it spoke to my inner soul and shit i didnt used to like it and everyone was saying lol u just dont get it man so emotional and its like the heaviest thing ever heavier than the moon u just gay bro but now i understand

well i'm glad you thought it was well-written Si1v3RfaNg. i honestly think this review made people angrier than the CTtS review, because the concepts and claims being made are much crazier, even if the format isn't so unconventional

Distance and Meaning is also definitely among my favorites. The crescendo into the shrieking part is pretty much orgasmic. This album is strong all the way through, but it's moments like that one that make it so special. The Broken Vow is a standout just for the "I'll take my love to the grave" refrain. Soooooo fucking powerful. But like I said choosing my favorite would be pretty much impossible. Taken by themselves, Concubine/Fault and Fracture make up just about the best 4 and a half minutes of metalcore ever though.
