Sweet man, what kind of stuff they got you doing?
|

Album Rating: 4.0
lots of corporate stuff like office redesigns and even interior design stuff cuz this department does both. but I got to be on some hospitality projects for some hotels and one really intense residential project which is basically designing a full neighborhood so that was really cool. also do intern-y stuff but not nearly as much coffee runs/copying papers than I thought haha

Ah nice one, sounds like they've got you doing some proper work which is awesome. Hate it when internships end up basically being a coffee machine.

Ah right fair, good luck to you then. I suppose it's different with different practise areas. Second year law internships (at least in the UK) half the time lead to jobs. Snagged myself one a few weeks ago which I'm pretty psyched about.

Cheers man. Yeah ots confusing on sput trying to figure out the education and recruitment systems in the US from a UK point of view. All this crap about majors and minors sounds so alien to me
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.0
haha yeah i get that. basically for US tho you wont get offered a job during an internship until the summer between ur 3rd and 4th year of college altho there are some exceptions.

Ah right I get you. In the UK most practise areas only offer jobs when you're in your last year of uni. Law seems to be a bit of an exception in that you can get a job offer a year earlier, and medicine I believe if you take certain career paths
