I think Ithyphallic suffers from the incredible high bar set by its predecessors was definitely a step back from the first 4 masterpieces. Weaker sound, less adventurous, it felt less passionate, less atmospheric, less technical. Still very good but not a masterpiece as those before it.

This and Catacombs are my favourite Nile. I was blasting this quite loud in my car while waiting at the lights, and some guy crossing the road turned his head and gave the thumbs up, was a great moment.
