I have a brain disorder that doesn't allow me to enjoy most instrumental music to the same level as music with vocals.

Although I don't find Camel (their first 3 albums anyway) in general to capture my love.

I'll keep trying though, I feel as though i'm missing out

There's some amazing tracks on here for sure. If I could I would probably rate it a 4.8, but I'm rounding up.

It's an album where the guitar does the singing. Some of the most emotive guitar work I've ever heard. Princesse Perdue in particular is astonishing!

Never understood why this was their most famous.

Mirage is their most famous as far as I'm concerned, but this beats it easily when it comes to emotionally gripping melodies. It's their most refined.

Yeah Mirage is def their most famous. Not even sure if I'd put this second over Moonmadness as far as recognition is concerned but I might be biased since Moonmadness was my first Camel

If you go by Sput votes alone it's Mirage (by a long shot), MM and then this

I think this being instrumental scares some people off. Unrighteously so, since the guitars do the vocal work just fine on here (better than the vocals on their other albums tbh)

This is more "classical" than mirage. I could handle the archetypal jazz of mirage but this takes easy listening to another level.

I don't see why that's a bad thing.
