It took me until the release of Beggars to appreciate the Alchemy Index (or at least the Air and Water EPs) so I'd say this was a rather quick turn around. Damn good rock record.

I agree, I blew off the Alchemy Indexes at first glance, now I think they're amazing.

I still think that Earth is 50/50 and that Fire is pretty much a disappointment

theres little doubt in my mind that earth > the other 3 by some margin. absolutely stellar songs there.

A fair amount of Beggars and a few off Vheissu and Artist last time i saw them.



I'm hoping for some Illusion at the festival though! but i wish they were playing Lock-Up Stage

band is definitely amazing, but I dunno that they'll ever come close to that three album run of TIoS, TAitA and Vheissu.

that's true, this one's really good for more alt/rock type stuff. I guess it just didn't have that "magical" type feeling of the three I mentioned, for me at least. Even still though, I find Vheissu to be more effective at alt/rock than this one, albeit Beggars is a little looser in feel.

If there's no tIoS I'll kick off so bad.
