Well there's Sin After Sin, and I like Rocka Rolla a lot as well.
But tbh, I think by this time they'd done their best. There was really no improvement they could've made imo. In that sense, no, imo there was no way they could do anything afterwards that could equal this or SWoD.
However, that's just my opinion, and I know many love PK.

Figures. To me, Painkiller and Screaming for Vengeance come close, but I won't deny that in terms of overall impact/influence, there's no album that could top 70's Priest. And also, Painkiller and SfV are overrated as fuck. Still love 'em, though.

My main issue with SfV is the choppy flow/lack of momentum on that album. With regards to PK, my review of that album kinda sums it up:

Different strokes for different folks, man. Since those were the two albums that brought me to heavy metal and Judas Priest, I have a bit of a personal connection to them, hence why I probably enjoy them so much. That doesn't mean that I can't appreciate and dig the hell outta the 70's, though.

I do have a personal connection with those albums as well, for similar reasons. In fact, I even practiced Electric Eye on guitar. Still love the fuck out of that song.
Having said that, I might 3.5 SfV one day, as much as it might pain me. Apart from the kickass title track, The Hellion/Electric Eye, Bloodstone, Ridin' on the Wind and You've Got Another Thing Comin', the album doesn't do much for me as a whole. It took me a long time to reach that conclusion though, but that's my opinion.

The intro riff to "You've Got Another Thing Comin" was one of the first riffs I ever learned on guitar. It's a bit overplayed, but it's really damn catchy.

Priest used to support Budgie on tours.
That's actually how I found about at them.

That awkward moment when a supporting band becomes one of the most successful artists in rock history.

And the headliner fades into obscurity, to be dug up years afterwards much like archeologists dig for artifacts.
