Glad I got to see him perform last year before he left us at least. He was a very entertaining frontman. But man... this year is just awful. Brent Hinds and Nisse Karlén in the span of a week is insane. RIP.
This will always be one of my most important albums in my metal journey. Think it was the second black metal album I heard after Storm of the lights bane and fell in love immediately. Legendary album.

I got to see Sacramentum at Maryland Deathfest a few years ago and Nisse's stage presence was awesome. Something about a middle aged, balding, beer gutted 90s black metal OG performing the best album in the genre was a sight to behold. he will be missed

I don't know the particular circumstances that drove him towards the abyss but as counterintuitive and bleak as it may seem for most people, suicide is sometimes the only way to stop the unbearable suffering of being alive in this world. Rest in peace man
