actually had a hard beatles listen sesh yesterday, listened to a few off here, dear prudence one of my faves of theirs
across the universe the movie was generally kind of goofy but the first time I watched it was tripping balls and the dear prudence part where they get the immigrant girl to stop hiding away and go out into the world and have fun legit had me in tears lol, just beautiful

This album takes so many risks, which is very respectable since most of them work out

This is the only Beatles album I don't like. Classic example of how needlessly bloated and filler-based a double album can be

Yeah no this is my favorite album literally of all time. I'd never imagined there could be an album where you like all god damn THIRTY of its tracks for legitimately completely different reasons. and riding off the coattails of best put together albums of all time nonetheless. beatles haters need a reality check

I feel like this is the Beatles at their most artistic point.

I've always considered this to be one of the best Beatles albums recorded despite the fact that they didn't play their parts together as a "band". I've always liked it, and always will.
Enjoyed your review of the album also. Spot on!
