This is without question one of the most revolutionary albums I’d ever heard at the time of its release. There’s still nothing quite like it and let’s face it Unfinished Sympathy really is one of the greatest things ever recorded.

I can just picture a young carefree zak waving his Bic to unfinished sympathy in the 90s
No shawarma joints bringing society to the brink of collapse… not a care in the world

Indeed pots. I had a 12gear mountain bike and did skids on the street where everyone knew each other’s name and conversed to the point where I was shouted at for doing skids outside peoples houses. I’d peddle home to mum, whack this on and do bic concertos.
It was magical.

What's the verdict on the 2012 remaster? sadly the only version available on Spotify now
|
| |
I don't know, I don't use Spotify! My CD version is from 1991.

The remaster is good
|

@Pho3nix: The remaster is worse than the original. Dynamic range is worse (fact) and the sound is overly saturated with too much extra treble spice (subjectively). Source : https://dr.loudness-war.info/?artist=massive+attack&album=blue+lines
It's still decent though.
