At this point I actually do agree that the new album is a big collection of different styles which is unfocused, but everything is very well done and dreamy. I'm liking it a lot still.

New album is actually growing on me quite a bit lol. The songs still don't go anywhere so it's hard to call any of them truly great. But a lot of them have moments in them that I really like.

new album feels like a collection of really awesome ideas that never quite got finished. most of the songs dont really go anywhere. one song is awesome then just stops after 2 minutes and its like "OK... did you run out of studio time or something?"

I didn't know what I was going to think of this, since it seems to be as widely adored as it is reviled, but despite what the detractors say I find this organically beautiful. It took a few listens to really get it though, at first it did sound terribly pedestrian.

@Hawks This is most "stable"(if that means anything in music) album by Explosions. The other albums are less focused, and it will be hard for non genre fan to keep with the things are goin on there.
