Ye it's probably not that insufferable considering he's talking about Spotify and it's deserved, it just comes across edgy and pretentious 2me. Also while I respect artists who don't want their shit on Spotify specifically, I'm a filthy product sponge bitch who is poor and I can feel at least slightly less bad about spotify than piracy which was how I listened to all music from age like 15-25
Lmao I found it on soulseek, downloaded it, pulled up my old megaupload acct to share it with a couple folks and all my old Mega shit from years back is still there somehow and....what do you know, fuckin' Frames is still already uploaded from the last time I shared it with someone probably like 9 years ago.

God I'm so happy to be listening to this again.
UNSUNG UNTIED ALIVE.
Feel my nips rn.
Voorhees is such an incredible track too, as perfect of a song/album closer as The Frame is, it's wild to me that this isn't on the main official release.

"Damn Shape you really were soaking wet for this bitch. Good on you though"
Yeah it's been one of my all time favs for years and I've managed to put it out of my head while it wasn't readily available enough but then the more I got thinking about it the more I realized how long it had been and I was foaming at the mouth to hear it, I was also excited to show it to someone who was interested and I knew would enjoy it and they wound up liking it a lot.
Back when I didn't do any streaming shit I used to scoff at people who complained about not being able to listen to shit just because it wasn't even readily available on it, my fiio loaded up with 100some-odd gigs of music, king of the castle.
Then I got spotify and I pretty much instantly became that person, it's just too convenient.
Voorhees is on the youtube and obv it's youtube quality but perfectly listen to. Whatever rerelease they're planning will hopefully include it, I'm gonna scream if they do a vinyl reissue and I miss out on it, I've coveted that for far too long.

Really? There are like two songs out and they're both pretty cool

Yeah agreed, will reserve total judgement for the full album but both songs were pretty dope, wasn't expecting anything that heavy. the keys on Stutter were cool.

I have high expectations when it comes to anything that is related to Vennart. The Empire State songs sounded like a mess to me. Dave Lombardo is the only part of the tracks i can enjoy

Also 'size and Vennart were never at their best when heavy, although they have some awesome metal tunes

Funny enough Sleeping Dogs was the first track i heard because I got it in like a clone hero pack and I loved it, it took me forever to get into the full Frames album because I had that song in my head as far as what Oceansize sounds like.
It's now probably my least favorite on the album but it still rips and is a blast of a song.

My least favourite is Only Twin. I never understood the appeal of that track
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
Only Twin's appeal, to me, was when it does that keyboard switch halfway through the song, going up an octave or whatever (dunno music theory).
That AND the "That kiss is now a circus show..." verse is the big emotional hitter for me.
For me the least favorite track is the The Frame. To me it was the most generic, harder to identify, lacking in emotional punch, track. Though I know its a favorite among forums.

Yep still not on Apple Music

The Frame is an emotional closer, and it perfectly stacks up to the two previous closers. The ending especially is really carthartic, though i can only listen to very occassionally

The Frame is a perfect song. The only song I can't get into here is Sleeping Dogs.

The first four tracks might me my favorite first four songs on an album ever
