some say integrity's first album from 1991 is the first true metal-core album. I'd rather say its a crossover between hardcore and thrash and is not really essential when it comes to metal-core(it definitely helped influence this tho).This is the real first metal-core album IMO and one of the very best.

Don't get me wrong i love integrity but it sounds much more hardcore to me than metal-core.
