If they work hard enough they might be able to create an atmosphere like Sleep Token one day

Unfair to compare anyone to Sleep Token though, they are literally the epitome of metal perfection

I’m certainly not a BM fiend by any means, but every time I return to the sorrow after a lil break I have more relevant experience in my locker as a point of comparison
this still clears most with consummate ease, their strong Viking folk influences probably help but their BM period is my fave
I’ll dip back into the others. Let’s see if Verisäkeet is still numero uno (had that 4.5d once upon a time).

Verisakeet strikes a perfect balance for me. It's like Blood Fire Death, but transitioning from folk metal to black metal instead of the other way around.

Verisakeet is best, but you can't go wrong with Moonsorrow.
