I used to hate this band too, because the only song I knew from them was “The Middle”. Then I heard more of their stuff and grew to like them. “The Sweetness” is their best song IMO

Yeah. That may have been the reason why I originally ranked it quite low. I'll say this, I think this album kind of loses a bit of steam by the end. I'm not a fan of the last song, might be my least favorite on the record, but, other than that, that's my only real gripe. "The Middle" is a great song, but radio-stations overplayed the hell out of it. I don't remember them playing any other song by the band except "The Middle" (at least on the radio stations we got here in Canada). I would have fell in love with these guys immediately if I had heard the title-track on the radio. "Sweetness" will always be my favorite by them. Not sure why, but it always reminded me of the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies; sounds like it would have fit in well on the soundtrack for one of those films.

They have much better albums than this one (Clarity abd Futures especially), but it’s still solid mid tier Jimmy Eat World. Some classic tracks, like Cautioners and Praise Chorus.

Futures is, by a landslide, their best album. "Just Tonight" was a staple of my youth thanks to Burnout 3: Takedown (still the best game I've ever played and one of the greatest soundtracks ever).

I’d say Clarity is their best — it’s just fucking perfect — but Futures is a strong second. 23 is their best song though for sure.

And for my money, GTA V is the best game of all time. Cliche choice sure, but it never gets old in even the slightest. Never played another game that has that effect. The Witcher 3 is definitely up there for me too.

I got GTA V when it was free haha. Good game. The open world is just breathtaking. Favourite of all-time (my gaming experience is severely limited) would probably be Borderlands 2.

Yeah man I can get lost in GTA for hours. Plus I live in LA and the world is incredibly accurate. Kinda cool to steal a car where I drive/walk past in real life.
Haven’t played Borderlands though.

They played "Sweetness" and "The Middle" a couple nights ago during halftime of Game 1 between the Phoenix Suns and the Denver Nuggets. Weird, but awesome.

Hear You Me is one of the best songs ever made

A Praise Chorus will always get me going. The perfect running/driving song.
