"Make sure you guys text me when Radiohead makes a song that isn't boring to the point it'll make you sleep! even Pyramid Song is crap ahaha, In Rainbows could be the most boring great album ever, they created nothing relevant since OK Computer let's face it.
Even The fucking Suburbs has 5 great songs which are better than anything on Kid A ahaha."
Well, I think most of this applies to Arcade Fire, but I guess that's just our different opinions. I enjoyed Arcade Fire when they first released this, but it quickly wore off. I honestly find Neon Bible more interesting. And as for The Suburbs, I ought to down it to a 2.5 instead of a 3.
Funeral is pretty much the pretentious, nowadays version of Sgt. Peppers - just nowhere as good nor as persistent or influential, IMO. So yeah, my point is that hipsters praise the shit out of this (using the term Hipster loosely, as some tards refer to me as one).
Now, that is very judgemental of me, but I'm just so tired of young people my age (twenties) and teenagers thinking they're cool, because this music sounds kinda bombastic and avant-garde. So I'm actually more tired of the fans than the band itself, but hey. Just had to get that off my chest.

Base, do you dig Neon Bible? Agreed that this isn't pretentious (NB is a bit tho)

By saying pretentious, I don't describe the lyrics (the lyrics never bothered me, neither did they do me any good), it was more in the sense of instrumentation, which you also pointed out. I find it to be too much sometimes, not awesome and passionate, and always get to the point where I can't finish the album due to this. Again, this is a matter of opinion and you display yours very good; I, apparently, just feel the opposite about this album.
I wasn't trying to call you and everyone who likes this album a hipster, it's just very commonly "them" who act like this is the greatest thing since the 60s. Neither do I think Kid A is the peak of art (admittedly, I love the album and have it at a 4.5 - also, OK Computer is def best).

Can any band from the 60s write "Never Gonna Give You Up"? :O
