Bump for the solo at the end of Häxprocess. So, so beautiful.

The guitar tone is so good, warmest I've ever heard.
Those bends make me weak at the knees.

lol
being angry that the album is mixed and mastered properly

Apparently Häxprocess is the witch hunt in the late middle ages. Never knew, thanks Wikipedia!

PC still hasn't clicked with me but Sorceress I always thought was good tbh

Yep, returned to it for the first time and, although "Devil's Orchid" still didn't leave much of an impression, "I Feel the Dark" and onwards really started to reveal itself. I think being more familiar with their prog stuff definitely helped as well. There are some incredible moments on here.

I've been putting off spinning this again since like '12. Should give it another shot.

Yeah this has aged well. Need to do a start to finish spin and then probably bump

I remember digging a lot of PC, and that made me think I'd probably like this one a lot more if I gave it another chance.

This has the same magic as their DM stuff

YES KALK! It's spectacular, and exactly that magic/adventure which is missing from PC and Sorceress can be found aplenty here. You only have to dig a little for it.
Heritage bump = best bump.

Going through this and currently on Folklore (my longtime fave) - damn, younger me missed a trick here. It's got a few clunky moments (I Feel the Dark, Famine) but the atmosphere and songwriting choices are so so engaging

And I agree with Art of course.
But this is a good development Johnny! And "atmosphere and songwriting choices are so so engaging" [2]!
