Good riddance! Dude is a headache and a crybaby. Also not consistent on the field. Could be great but his attitude will always keep him from it. Definitely a good match for Jerry Jones.

should be good for the dressing room culture over there, lol. Nice weapon if they can keep him onside though I guess

The DK trade definitely makes a lot more sense now

If Tomlin couldn't keep him under control, nobody will be able to lol. Tomlin has a lot of faults but he kept AB under control for 10 whole years. Pickens didn't even last 4 lol.

Jags cut Gabe Davis, arguably one of their worst FA signings in the last decade. Dude was so trash lmao. Will never forget him chewing out TLaw on the sidelines about not being targeted and then proceeded to drop his very next target. Fuck you Trent Baalke for paying him what he did.

He either goes back to Buffalo or might fill a depth WR spot on the Steelers?

yeah not too sad to see him go. felt like we were cruising towards this during the end of last season. sensational player when his head is on straight but that was just becoming less and less the case as the season went on. dude put up one of the worst wr1 performances i've ever seen in that week 18 bengals game.

and yeah feel much much better about the dk trade. seems they learned their lesson from overpaying diontae just because he was here, and also gives us extra ammo for a qb trade-up.

since 2018 we've traded antonio brown, martavis bryant, chase claypool, diontae johnson, and george pickens for a 2nd and four 3rds cumulatively. chase claypool netted the highest pick while being by far the worst player lmao.

Exactly. Why let him play this year and walk for nothing at the end of the season when you can get picks for him? Easy decision for The Khan Artist.

Bon voyage Derek, though It’s not a good time to be a dude who looks like he’s wearing eyeliner in the public eye right now. That 2016 Carr season was so fun but so tragic, sad he couldn’t recapture that ever.

oh damn we actually signed rodgers lmao

really not sure what this accomplishes. were either gonna be a borderline wildcard team again or rodgers' bad vibes will drag us into an absolutely miserable season a la last year's jets... and either way were still gonna need a new qb next season.

not sure how tomlin and the front office watched the final six weeks of last season and thought "were a qb away!". in many of the previous years maybe, but last year's defense was quietly kinda ass when they weren't forcing 3 turnovers a game. as soon as that stopped happening the ravens rushed for 300yds and a struggling jalen hurts had his best game of the year as a passer against us. the existing team isn't nearly good enough to warrant the risk of the rodgers experience, and i really don't see tomlin and arthur smith pulling a 2009-favre out of him. were more likely to see watt request a midseason trade than rodgers lead us past the wildcard.

also as a fan i find the sequence of events kind of mindboggling. couldn't come to a deal in march presumably because rodgers wanted to skip otas or whatever, which is why we have a deal now.

why could we not have just signed him in march and let him skip them lmao? did we just panic or was there a handshake agreement in place this whole time? how much or how little did rodgers factor into the draft and other offseason moves despite not even being officially on the team? how committed even is rodgers at this point? whole thing is pretty nonsensical

yeah all that does is put added pressure on mason rudolph not knowing where he stands with the team, especially since he was treated weirdly during his first tenure with the steelers towards the end.

two whole months not becoming involved in the org and familiarizing with the team/receivers is going to be bad come July/August when things start ramping up. He's purposefully hamstringing himself.

"Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers now on the field...

pleading with the crowd for-- for some kind of sanity.

Uh-oh. And a barrage of pretzels...

now knocking Rodgers unconscious.

Wow. This is a-- This is a black day for football."
