'Hours of Wealth might be my fave ballad. Isolation Years is definitely nicer too. Really love Burden as well.'

couldn't agree more

I could definitely do without hearing any of their ballads now tbh. Maybe Windowpane in isolation (overshadows the rest of Damnation pretty emphatically) and yeah I have a bit of ye old nostalgia saved up for Benighted here

even in better days I was never that into Harvest. All the above are / were preferable

god, talking about this band makes me sad these days

if I wanna hear softboi shite (and I often do these days!) then the realms of prog metal are far from my go-to environment I guess, lol(?)

I've been taking a break from Opeth in general recently, but I know I'll get back to their discog sometime soon. These days, I've been on a massive Nevermore binge

Yup. I recognise that ebb and flow, works the same way for me. The urge always comes back some day, but there might be months or years in between.

Currently mega in the mood which is always the best time. No band quite like them still.

same with the favorites. i don't like overplaying stuff, so i save it until i binge the discog again like old times. still keeps the magic.
