Three fav songs on this are higher coward, furthest from the truth, and put my hand in the fire. But they're literally all all-timers

Put My Hand In the Fire never really stood out to me until my epiphany on page 273

I always thought the vocals in Fall From a High Place sounded kind of weird, they sound more muffled or something. They must have recorded them on a different mic.

Actually now that I'm listening to this again, Lost Passion, Put My Hand in the Fire, and Close to a World Below all sound a little different from the other tracks as well. Anyone else hear it?

the evil aura this has is overwhelming, an actual descent into hell. t/t main riff especially is so spooky. usually don't like much disso death because it's so monotonous but this is still really catchy for what it is. tons of great memorable riffs and solos to break it up. dissonant but they stand out and even have some groove to them. tons of tempo changes. the mix is perfect, so dense and claustrophobic but not overpolished. like you're suffocating. i see why this is held in so high regard. haven't had an insta 5 in a while, but this fits the bill. perfect match of thematics and atmosphere.

my favs are father, t/t, truth and passion.

the reason why vigna is so revered is because he can blend the dissonance with the groove/catchiness and consistently make it work

What's funny is these guys in real life seem like the nicest, most disarming dudes you could ever meet. Why are the nicest guys always the most brutal lol one of those weird yet awesome things in life

Also @Death now that you mention it the vocals on Fall From a High Place do sound pretty weird. I will never hear this the same way again.

Listened to it on vinyl and yeah its not just an issue with the Spotify rip. Damn
