holland 1945 has to be one the best indie rock songs ever written. no matter how bummed out i am, i can't help but smile when it comes on, which is kind of funny given the subject matter lol

For me that's Ghost, gives me a massive grin on my face. Incredible how Jeff can sell such bizzare, yet powerful imagery on this album with such conviction.

i was actually prompted by a discussion with mongi. he basically said he doesn't get why people call it the best album ever written and i couldn't help myself, had to post a cheeky comment :P and he didn't even see it! lol. in all seriousness though it is one of my favourite albums, which is weird because at a time i straight up fucking hated this album =/
