It certainly has. Super hard of naming albums that even come close to that one.

Opeth could definitely enter the Eurovision Song Contest with one of those ballads.

The detuning of the guitar will add to their spectacular show.

I mean, if Lordi could, why not Opeth?

Basically Sweden owns that contest and has subconsciously worked it into all their music.

The best example for me is 'He Is' by Ghost.

Yeah I need too check up on some more Ghost. What album is that from? Didn't really like the few tracks that I tried here and there though.

Heir Apparent and Lotus Eater are two of my favorite songs of all time. This album is so good straight across the board though, pretty easily my favorite Opeth.

Sowing have you read my 5/5 review for this? I noticed no one had done one and decided to do so myself cause I always thought it was underrated, even tho it's not quite a 5/5 for me.

As of late, this has been my favourite Opeth album. It combines everything that makes their classic material so amazing, but has the charm and experimentation from Heritage. That fucking oboe too.

Consistent record yet without a single top 15 Opeth song on it.

Yeah I could agree with that Pika. It's very good, very consistent, yet without GOAT Opeth tracks. The ones that come close for me are Heir Apparent and Hessian Peel, plus I adore Hex and Coil. And Burden is cool too.

Haha, those are almost all of these tracks!

Coil, Hessian Peel and Hex Omega are my favourites. Heir Apparent and Lotus Eater drag on too much.

Goddammit, so many songs that start with "He". Alliteration hell.

And my reply to you regarding favourite songs got lost in the bowels of the page break. Oh you, sput.
