Maybe it's because I listened to it heavily in summer, but I think the songs have much warmth to be considered cold.

Detached for sure. Numb, even. But, I would say the best moment to listen to it is late afternoon, early night in summer, just when the sun has set and the sand loses heat. It's still warm, but a creeping chill comes from the sea.

These days I think Decks Dark is my favorite off this. Least favorite being Daydreaming probably.

This has the be the most divisive album of the year as far as favorite tracks go. Seems everyone has wildly different or completely opposite opinions concerning which tracks are their favorite.
