It appears to be true. Damn right before my birthday too. Awesome! Now only a Winds of Winter release date and I know the day that I can die happily lol.

BITCH I WAS THERE. Birmingham is such a weird place to announce but I feel a part of history.
I thought they did this everywhere and I was late to the game but I guess not! Lol

Awesome Brush! I tried to get tickets for the show in my country but it was literally sold out in 5 seconds. I went into the ticket line about 30 min. before the sale started and didn't get in. How was the show overall? Had a good time?

It was awesome! Tickets were only $68 and I bought mine later than anticipated. But it was overall incredible. Sounded just as good live as they do in studio, imo. Felt like I overwhelmed my friend who just passively likes them lol

Tell your friend to STFU. there's people over Europe that haven't seen Tool in 12 years.

Damn, maynard sings "shit the bed" with such a conviction, it makes it amazing. What is this?
Lost Keys and Conjuring as back to back interludes and the outro track are the only big flaws I make out atm. This is pretty close to Lateralus (which was a little more diverse and interesting, I guess), but one could argue they weren't finished with this style yet and could explore it a little further. Nothing wrong with that. I wonder if they can really pull off another similar album, though

Lost Keys has an incredible riff and is a great precursor to Rosetta, and Viginti Tres is really cool horror ambient type stuff - the only issue is Lipan Conjuring which seems like a harmless filler track, but nah it's just annoying and jars the record's flow

I love Lost Keys, I don't mind Lipan (though I see why others do), but Viginti is just annoying.

Ha! I didn't think you were lying. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't just another baseless rumour floating around.

Btw kalk how come you are so late to Tool when you are into so many prog bands that took influence from them?

@size: That's a good question! I know Lateralus for quite some time now, but I never listened to their other stuff. That's probably because they're not so easily available and I don't like buying albums before I have listened to them a few times.

Well fair enough, Youtube streaming their albums wouldn't have been satisfying for me either

Lucky you Hans. I would've liked to get tickets but they were sold out in about 10 minutes.

Nag I bit the bullet and got resale tickets on Vivid Seats. 7th row, $200. I would have paid more.

Steep, but good seats at least. I like Tool but it wouldn't be worth quite that much to me I think, haha. I hate the whole ticket resale business. But have a great time ;)

Ive gotten so used to having to get resale tickets that I almost prefer them now. At least there, you can pick your seat instead of praying you get something, anything at the public onsale.
