But do you like the atmosphere and intensity of that Live performance of it? THATS what Neurosis is about. Also those world ending transitions. Like your a Viking and you just fking steamrolled a village. A lot of people come back to Neurosis after previously not clicking. Heard it many a time.

I do, their intensity and intentions are undeniable, maybe it's the sludgy part or the vocals that don't do it for me, but i'm still curious about this album tho, at least it has "something" in it, my most beloved bands didn't clicked with me it all at first, Meshuggah it's the most recent example, it's by far my favorite now

I dont know...You just gotta surrender to it. Post metal can be long and pretty repetitive but its the atmosphere it builds and the pay offs that can be created but some is also boring AF. Its not for the ADD peeps. But once your in...youre in.
