it took me about 5 tries to get into this band tbh. Everything is Fire just sounded like mindless incoherent noise. Withered and Obsolete just suddenly clicked one day and now its one of my fav metal tracks

EiF sounded good on the first listen to me but it felt like it was just slogging by on the brickwalled, chaotic post-y sound for the entire album
i gave it probably 4 tries and on the fourth, suddenly, each track had a separate identity and variety to it that i hadn't recognized before. really bizarre feeling but totally true to the "it grows on you" sentiment
