Dunno how anyone can say the vocals are just 'there', maybe with the exception of some of his lower growls here and there. His higher ones compliment the drumming very well, especially the blast beats ('CREATED IN THE IMAGE OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION!' on Visceral Ends).

I don't pay much attention to the vocals other than as a percussive element, really. there are a few lines that I hang on but I'm here for the drumming, atmosphere, guitars, album art, and vocals in that order.

I didn’t say the album cover wasn’t ‘quality’ (it is), just amuses me that it could be considered more important than the vocals. I don’t entirely disagree either.

Good PB. 279 became too anti-american.

But it's understandable if the Brits are also slightly confused these days.

I've seen enough movies to know that if you side with the bully, you're going to have a bad time

All I’ve watched over the Xmas period is the Carry On Films and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Definitely the worst album I’ve ever heard.

I do wonder what sort of legacy these guys will end up having, as far as I understand it they’re not quite as ‘big’ outside of niche forums such as ours. Although I imagine this release might have shifted the balance somewhat (given it’s relative accessibility).

I like to think ‘we’ were ahead of the times lads.

Oh yeah I’ve only been a fan since Oct ‘17 (apparently), so I’m not including myself in that (necessarily), just saying it’s interesting when an artist gains more traction here than elsewhere.
