ive been lurking and posting on this site since february and one thing i noticed in general is that some people either comment on albums they like a lot, comment on albums they like and dislike (which is normal) and most want to prove a point on how much they dislike the album, not with one or two posts but always there to let everyone know how much it isnt good. the former is using the site to the max, the mid is the average and should be expected but the latter just incessantly rambles on and on to cause drama. i could go on some stupid shit band you like and trash it but i dont because im an adult. write that review i think we are all curious about this review considering you are a contributing reviewer, i honestly would love to read your thoughts on this album but please at least listen to it first.

This has been a huge shitpost thread and I post here because it's (normally) a good place for dumb, anything-goes bullshit (which I've got no shame admitting I love) - that's as deep as it goes really, same story as with the Lingua Ignota thread although I have more to say about the music here if picked up on it as now. Dunno if I would review this because I can see it being a lot of time, energy and wordcount to get my thoughts into the shape I'd like them, but if I did I'd of course revisit the album several times in detail (this is another reason I'd be reluctant to go there lol, but I'm going to give it another listen soonish regardless to see how my opinion changes)

It’s just weird when people negatively comment, incessantly. My point is - why not spend more time in threads of artists you enjoy? Example- I really hate Korn; but I do not care that some people love them. Why would I try to shit on them and post negatively in Korn threads? I don’t.

If you take the time to read back though this thread, you'll see that people with low ratings, including me, come to the thread far more to shoot the shit and have fun than to actually talk about the music. One of these things is dumb fun, the other is ultra boring. Please don't confuse having a negative rating and commenting with commenting negatively - I'd hope that's a self-evident distinction.

I regret ever attempting to converse with Stormheart, clearly a lost cause. Johnny explains himself well enough whereas Storm is essentially saying it’s impossible to dislike this and everyone who does is mindlessly trolling. Unbelievable really.
