When i first heard that they collaborated on a track i was all excited, but upon listening all of the excitement vanished in an instant. It hasn't changed since then. A track that deserves nothing but to be skipped

I think it gets a lot of shit because it had too much hype, even without considering it follows one of the best songs on the album. The Serj feature wasn't even really planned, Chino sent him the song seeing if he had anything to add and Serj sent it back the next day with his additions. Personally I think the song flows well with the rest of the album.

Hype absolutely has something to do with it.

You have the two most unique mainstream rock vocalists collaborating and they sound they both drank two bottles of sleep aid before recording.

I don’t hate the song, it just should’ve been so much more.

Mein rules because of the infectious drums.

Glad I'm not the only one who has an issue with Serj's contribution

Yeah, the band was going through some shit during the recording of this album. Chino was going through drug addiction and divorce at the time I think. No wonder this album has such a dark atmosphere throughout it, which I think adds to the experience

Wow, didn't know any of that. Really crazy that it came together so well then. Definitely checking that out

Yep, Chino was hooked on meth while they recorded this and was also going through a divorce. I remember reading somewhere that he said he was smoking meth in the recording booth, just all fucking zonked out.

And yeah, Mein isn’t a bad song. It’s just very boring and bland.

Well, he quit meth and ballooned. When you’ve been neglecting eating for months and lay off the meth, your body demands lots of food because it’s fucking famished abd malnourished.
