whoa from a 'neutral's perspective' that was disappointingly a complete blowout, the final score made it look closer than it was for sure (I hope history remembers how much of an absolute beatdown it really was). I mean imagine putting your back-up QB in during the SB, lol

hats off to the Eagles D, as I cannot recall a team dominating the Chiefs line that badly, it was shocking to witness. Mahomes was as shaken as I've seen for years

the chiefs almost complete inability to draft contributors on the offensive side of the ball the past 2-3 years finally came back to haunt them. i've said it before but really felt like this year more than any in the past they were way too reliant on mahomes' ability to bail them out of tough spots. they've mostly utilized mercenaries playing for peanuts at the skill positions in the post-tyreek era but that doesn't work if kelce is gonna be a replacement level player... and their tackles had largely been not-good all season. that offense was not at all built to play from behind like that.

I've been grinning like a child in a candy store for the last several days. Looking into all the nerd stats, the Eagles had one of the most dominant Super Bowl performances ever and those garbage time TDs are always going to annoy me by hiding how badly the Chiefs got their asses whooped.

Jalen Hurts also had the highest EPA/dropback of any QB this millennium. It was pure dominance from top to bottom and I still can't believe we watched the defense do what they did. I mean Patrick Mahomes' highlight reel from the NFL YouTube account starts with the score being 34-0. Sirianni had already gotten his Gatorade bath before the Chiefs scored their second TD.

To put it into perspective Mahomes has less than 2 pass yards per POINT that the Eagles had put up at 34-0 (and their rushing yards were negligible, so it might've been their entire offence tbh), that's utter dominance

Haha, I was counting the end of Sunday, all of Monday, and this morning there but yeah it's been nice to gloat a bit at work though being in Ravens country a lot of people are happy the Chiefs got smashed.

I have a lot of crow to eat regarding Sirianni because I wanted him gone at the bye week. It was the same shit we'd seen last year and the team looked sloppy. He got them to rally around each other and become a family. They defending him to the death in the offseason too so the team is obviously seeing a different side of him as a coach that we don't as outsiders.

The guy has been to 2 Super Bowls in 4 years. He's a great coach lol.

His offense looked like shit until Steichen took over playcalling halfway through 2021 and then it looked awful again once Steichen left. The way they collapsed last year too had everyone questioning what he even does since his playcalling was shown to be bad and all of his defenses had glaring issues. He doesn't seem like an Xs and Os type of coach and it seemed like the team was winning last year on sheer talent until they weren't.

But yeah, all he's done is win and he's 51-12 since week 8 of 2021 in games that Hurts starts and finishes. That plus two Super Bowl appearances and a win and he easily has the best resume of any Eagles coach.

Also, I 100% believe the Eagles win the 2022 Super Bowl if the field wasn't a slip 'n' slide.
